Invite the ACQP for authorization

Before you begin

On the Authorization page under the Production tab, you can invite Acquiring Service Providers (ACQPs) to authorize your application.

Before this, ensure that you have completed the following items:

  • Create the application.
  • Select integration products.
  • Conduct sandbox acceptance testing.

How to invite the ACQP for authorization

Step 1: Check your role and permissions

Ensure that you are in the role of Developer Admin so that you can generate the authorization URL and check the authorization status.

Step 2: Generate an authorization URL

  1. On the Application Authorization page, click Generate Authorization URL on the upper right corner of the page.
  2. In the pop-up window, select all the products to be authorized and then click Generate Authorization URL.

Note: The products to be authorized must be included in the ACQP's contract with Alipay+.

  1. The URL is generated successfully. You can copy the URL by clicking the copy icon.
  2. If the URL failed to generate, return to the previous page or refresh the page to retry.

Step 3: Send the authorization URL to the ACQP

Send the authorization URL to the ACQP. Wait for the ACQP to complete the authorization.

For more information about how the ACQP completes the authorization, see Authorize application in the Alipay+ Developer Center User Guide for ACQPs.

How to check the authorization status

After the ACQP completes the authorization, you can check the authorization status in the following two ways:

  • Check your mailbox. A notification email is sent to you when the ACQP makes a change to the authorization status.
  • On the Application Authorization page, search for one or more ACQPs by ACQP Name, ACQP ID, or Authorization Status.
    • In the Status column, you can check the authorization status for each ACQP.

Status

Description

Active

The authorization is activated.

Inactive

The authorization is canceled by ACQP and is inactive.

    • In the Token column, you can check the Agent-Token parameter required in the request header for making API calls in the production environment. You can choose to copy, display or hide this token.

Note: The TSP owns a uniquely valid value of Agent-Token for each ACQP. If the TSP wants to modify the authorization scope, the TSP needs to refresh the value of Agent-Token by another authorization. For more information, see How to modify the authorization scope.

How to modify the authorization scope

After the ACQP completes the authorization, you may need to add new products and modify the authorization scope. Depending on whether the new products to be authorized are already integrated, there are two scenarios.

Scenario 1: Select new products from integrated products

  1. On the Application Authorization page, click Generate Authorization URL on the upper right corner of the page.
  2. In the pop-up window, select the products that you want to add and then click Generate Authorization URL.
  3. Copy the URL and send it to the ACQP. Wait for the ACQP to complete the authorization.

Scenario 2: Add payment products

If the product that you need to add are not integrated, follow the instructions in How to add payment products.
